What masterpiece, or crap, are you creating?
When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.
John Ruskin
The above quote is so profound and exciting.
Thinking about it can provoke many questions…
- Can I tick the boxes? Am I working on something which I love? Do I have skill at what I am doing?
- Do I pretend to like what I am doing?
- Do I con people about the quality of my work?
- What do my results tell me?
- What do my results tell others?
- When am I going to start doing something I love and at which I have a skill?
- Do I need to add to my skill sets or retrain perhaps?
- Do I like being with people? Am I sincere?
- Do I genuinely love or care about people? Or am I one of those types who signs off “with love”, yet is not genuine?
- Am I charging, or being paid, enough?
- Who am I? What do I love?
- Do I have as yet unidentified skills?
- Have I been pushed into a career by circumstance, society or my parents?
- Does the quote describe me?
